Opinion: Biggies Greatest Mistake was Dismissing Erica from BBN - See Why
The sole reason behind Big brother Naija, is to entertain people while Garnering more money from voter's money.
I must say that BBN was entertaining,but, that was only before Erica was dismissed.
Mind you, I am not in any way supporting Erica's unruly behavior, as a matter of fact, I find her attitude beguiling and uncalled for.
I am also saying that the whole game revolved around her, and her relationship with Kidwayya.
There were a lot of people who tunes in to the station daily,just to catch a glimpse of Erica and Kidwayya.
To these set of people, the game revolved around these duo.
I must admit that a lot of people lost interest in BBN 2020, the very minute Erica was disqualified.
It is no longer a game.
Everybody knows who's going to win with Erica out of the way.
There's no longer competition Among the Housemates.
People will definitely relent in their votings.
Erica's fans have chosen not to vote for another housemate,but, have channeled the Money into a 'Gofundme' account they opened for their Queen.
It is true that the grand prize for 2020 edition of Big brother Naija is 85M, but, Erica's fans have proposed a total sum of $100,000 for her.
So, the average votes that would have been garnered by BBN which comes in form of money, is thus divided by the GoFundMe account that was created.
Not just that, a lot of people will be spending more time on her personal page following and keeping up with her than watching BBN.
It is indeed a pity that Biggie didn't see this coming.
I must commend Erica's fans.
Whatever drove them into pushing for her to be rewarded must be extremely strong.
